Pungnam, where came from?
If there is Namdaemun in Seoul, there is Pungnammun in Jeonju.
The beginning of the Joseon Dynasty,
Jeonju, the hometown of Lee Seong-gye, was called 'Pungpaejihyang'.
'Pungpae' means the hometown of the emperor who founded a new dynasty.
To emphasize that it was the birthplace of the Joseon Dynasty,
